FRIDGES.SI WAITLIST — DEPLOYMENT

Included:
- index.html: responsive landing page
- subscribe.php: validates email and saves one address per line
- data/.htaccess: blocks direct access to subscriber data on Apache
- data/subscribers.txt: created on first signup

DEPLOY
1. Upload index.html and subscribe.php to a PHP-enabled web host.
2. Upload the data folder. Ensure the PHP process can write to it.
3. Enable HTTPS before collecting real addresses.
4. Test the form, then check data/subscribers.txt on the server.

PRIVACY / SECURITY
The list contains personal data. Keep it private, restrict access, back it up securely, and delete addresses when no longer needed. The .htaccess rule applies to Apache; for Nginx or another server, configure an equivalent deny rule or store the file outside the public web root. Add a privacy policy and contact address before public launch, explaining who controls the list, why addresses are collected, retention, and deletion requests. Use addresses only for the promised launch notification.

The form saves email addresses but does NOT send emails automatically. You will need an email service or mail server to send the launch announcement. Requires PHP 8+ recommended.
